The last pilgrim is a strong, believing woman and the mother of [[Tobias]]. When [[The Pilgrims]] set out to work against [[The Rot]] in the [[Grand Forest]] a final time before they succumbed, she stayed behind to protect her six-year old son, [[Tobias]], from the rot that is affecting his leg. Her husband was the leader of the pilgrims.

When the condition of Tobias deteriorated after the other pilgrims did not return, she left towards the [[Sealed Roots]] to seek contact with the Grand Tree. There she cast a spell that sealed the rot within this confine of the [[Sacred Forest]]. This caused the Sealed Roots to become overgrown, and all ways of entry to be blocked. She gave up her lifeforce in the process, and to date still lies trapped in the sealed roots on the edge of life and death.
