+This is the introduction quest for Blind Nature, where Liora wakes up in a blazing forest while the Grand Tree is aflame and her father rescues her. This quest starts at Liora's village and ends up at the Waterfall Plateau.
+

+**FADE IN:**
+
+A BURNING FOREST AT NIGHT
+
+LIORA, AGE 15, lies on the ground in the GRAND FOREST and opens her eyes. Her FATHER spots her lying on the ground and screams while running towards her.
+
+FATHER
+Liora! Liora!
+
+LIORA
+Father!
+
+FATHER
+Take my hand! We must get away from here!
+
+Liora extends her hand and gets up with the help of her father, she COUGHS once from the burning ashes that fly through the air. She clings to her father.
+
+FATHER
+Listen carefully to follow my directions.
+
+FATHER and Liora are holding each other tight. On directions from FATHER, Liora walks in the appropriate direction or stops. She is corrected when trying to walk in the wrong direction.
+
+FATHER
+Forward.
+
+FATHER
+Now left.
+
+FATHER
+Stop. Now forward.
+
+FATHER
+To the right.
+
+FATHER
+Not in that direction. To the right.
+
+FATHER
+Very well, we're almost there.
+
+FATHER
+Forward.
+
+When Liora takes the first few steps forward with her father, a FLAMING TREE falls over and blocks their path. They are forced to take a detour again. Liora and her father are SHOCKED.
+
+FATHER
+Watch out! That tree is falling down!
+
+LIORA
+Father!
+
+The FLAMING TREE makes a big impact and sends ASH flying towards to the two. They both COUGH for a few seconds.
+
+FATHER
+We must continue! To the left!
+
+FATHER
+Stop! Now forward, we're almost around it!
+
+FATHER
+We passed it! Now straight ahead.
+
+The two keep walking straight for a while as they approach a SMALL CANAL that leads to the GRAND LAKE. The flaming forest still surrounds them, but sounds more distant. The flames have not yet reached this part of the forest.
+
+FATHER
+The canal is just ahead.
+
+LIORA
+Canal? Where are we going?
+
+FATHER
+To the Grand Lake. We're heading west.
+
+LIORA
+West?
+
+As Liora still questions where they might be going, her father interrupts when he sees the little ROWING BOAT at the side of the canal. It is docked at a WOODEN SCAFFOLD.
+
+FATHER
+There is no time to explain. The fire will soon spread to here. We must go now.
+
+Father guides Liora on to the wooden scaffold straight ahead, which is about three meters in length and extends towards the water. The rowing boat is at their left.
+
+Liora is lifted up by her father and placed in the rowboat. He then boards the boat himself one foot at a time.
+
+FATHER
+Off we go.
+
+FATHER pushes the boat off the side with his paddle and begins paddling. When he is consistently paddling forward, he turns to Liora.
+
+FATHER
+We will reach the Grand Lake in about an hour, from there it will take about half a day to cross. You should get some sleep while you can. I will be here for you.
+
+Liora closes her eyes and lets her exhaustion put her to sleep.
+
+MIDDLE OF THE GRAND LAKE
+
+Liora sleeps for about 4 hours, opens her eyes well-rested. She can hear the sound of subtle water flowing on the Grand Lake and the motion of the rowing paddles that push the water. Other than that, it is a silent lake. The fire has brought a great mist upon the lake that makes it hard for her father to see. On a clear day, one can see across the entire lake.
+
+Father is beginning to get a bit tired. He got afflicted with the CURSE OF THE FOREST the night before, which Liora does not know about. It makes him occasionally cough, but he tries to hide the fact to Liora. If Liora could see, her father would not look in good condition. His face is completely red, and a rash covers his arms. Whatever strength he has left, he has put to rowing the boat to safety.

+Relative to the boat, far in the distance on the left, a MOUNTAIN WATERFALL that directs water from the mountains can be heard. It is a distant rumbling sound, about an hour away by boat. Father uses it orient himself across the lake. When rowing (facing the back of the boat), the waterfall can be heard to the left.

+FATHER
+(coughs)
+
+Father realizes Liora is awake from the sounds she makes when sitting upright.

+FATHER
+Liora.
+
+LIORA
+Where are we, Father?
+
+FATHER
+Almost halfway across the Grand Lake (coughs). Did you get a good sleep?

+LIORA
+Yes, I feel well.
