+## History
+
+Liora originates from a small village on the north-eastern edge of the [[Grand Forest]]. She lived there with her mother and father. The village housed a few other families with their children, who Liora played with in her childhood. When [[The Rot]] began to spread in the [[Grand Forest]] for the first time, she fell unconscious and her sick father brought her to the [[Grand Lake]] and ferried her across, where he got off and let her continue on towards the [[Waterfall Plateau]]. She remained unconscious for years in a strange interaction with [[The Rot]], until a year before [[Lauren]] and [[Vector]] arrived.

+At the time she woke up, she is 17 years old. Which makes her a year older than [[Tobias]].

+## Personality
+
+Liora is blind by nature, but has a rich imagination of the world around her. She believes in her own strengths. She tries to connect with living creatures, nature, through the sounds they make and through contact. Because she grew up surrounded by others that we're able to see, she became increasingly curious about the world. Her rich imagination, full of colors, makes even the most dull of areas seem like a beautiful place.

+At times, when she is confronted with her inability to do something due to her blindness, she feels a bit insecure, but will try to hide it by overflowing with positivity. When her feelings reach a tipping point, she avoids all contact with anyone around her, and seeks an isolated place of nature around her. There she will gently cry, about how she can't see the sky or the colors of the flowers. However, on each of the occasions that this happened to her, she received a spark of inspiration from the mana flowing through the forest. All things around, living or dead, would whisper to her. The forest begins to play strands of music and she is carried by the sound, back to her home.

+She has more energy than any of the other children in her home town, and this gives her a personality to put in more effort, and go beyond "normal" for anything she is asked to do.  She loves to sing and to use her voice to talk to the surroundings. Due to this natural ability to connect, she quickly befriended many animals of the forest. [[Kestrel]] quickly bonds with her because he can sense this relationship with her.

+Liora enjoys to play and to puzzle. Because she can't see most things, she spends more time with them and as a result, understands them far better than anyone else. Because of this, she also enjoyed doing puzzles that require her to feel, touch and hear. In conversation, she loves to ask questions.

+The last pilgrim is a strong, believing woman and the mother of [[Tobias]]. When [[The Pilgrims]] set out to work against [[The Rot]] in the [[Grand Forest]] a final time before they succumbed, she stayed behind to protect her six-year old son, [[Tobias]], from the rot that is affecting his leg. Her husband was the leader of the pilgrims.

+When the condition of Tobias deteriorated after the other pilgrims did not return, she left towards the [[Sealed Roots]] to seek contact with the Grand Tree. There she cast a spell that sealed the rot within this confine of the [[Sacred Forest]]. This caused the Sealed Roots to become overgrown, and all ways of entry to be blocked. She gave up her lifeforce in the process, and to date still lies trapped in the sealed roots on the edge of life and death.

+The pilgrims are a group 20 religious believers of [[Mana]] who came to the [[Land of Mirelia]] because of rumors they heard of the [[Grand Tree]]. The arrived in the [[Sacred Forest]] and decided to settle their because of its proximity to sea, it being a safe space, and the presence of the [[Sealed Roots]] which gave them a direct contact to the Grand Tree.

+When [[The Rot]] took hold of the Grand Tree, they frequently visited to continue their worship, to the detriment of their health as the rot affected them, leaving them weak and fragile to die at the base of the Grand Tree.

+Tobias is the son of his mother, [[The Last Pilgrim]] and his father, the leader of the pilgrims. He got separated from his mother at the age of 7, and until then had learned a lot about surviving. His left leg is affected by [[The Rot]] when [[The Pilgrims]] carried it back some time during their travels. He has difficulty walking, and therefore relies on [[Liora]] to help him obtain resources.

+He lives in a house next to the [[Bell Church]], in the mother that he and his mother lived in. He turned his house into a workshop for crafting magical devices, in the hopes of finding a way to enter the [[Sealed Roots]] and find his mother. He lacks the necessary resources, which [[Liora]] must obtain for him. He also plays the violin, and can be heard playing outside when he is on a break from his crafting.

+He found Liora stranded near the [[Waterfall Plateau]] when he was 11, and cared for her ever since while she was unconscious. At the time Liora wakes up, he is 16 years of age.

+Vector is the sorcerer from the distant lands, who travelled together with [[Lauren]] to investigate a disturbance they had sensed in the natural flow of mana throughout the world. [[The Rot]] that took over large parts of the [[Land of Mirelia]], drew their attention because the mana balance shifted.
+
+He arrived together with [[Lauren]], his wife, on a boat named [[The Sylverian]] at the [[Sacred Forest]]. There they met a 12-year old [[Tobias]], who explained them about the history of [[The Pilgrims]], the rot, and about [[Liora]]. 
+
+He spends most of his time travelling throughout [[Land of Mirelia]], conducting research. He owns a grand eagle that he rides. When he is in the Sacred Forest, he spends time in the [[Sorcerer Tower]] to study the magic left behind by [[The Pilgrims]].
+
+He has a great deal of mana, and strengthened the [[Sorcerer Stone]] that keeps [[The Mana Barrier]] in place to ward of [[The Rot]] in the [[Mana Plains]].

+## Personality

+He is a stoic and strong man, with a responsibility to ward off the rot and restore the balance of mana. He can be occasionally cold when prioritizing research progress over individual creatures and lives, but he does take his time listening to them. He sees [[The Rot]] as an "evil" that most be rid off.
